27 Mar FORGING STRONGER TIES WITH INDONESIA
Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines — Oro Chamber as represented by three members of the Board of Trustees, headed by President Robert Pizarro meets with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, Consul Berlian Napitupulu.
The discussion was centered on Indonesia’s willingness to build business relationship with the business sector in the city. Consul Berlian promoted Indonesia as a strategic partner for investments and trade. He also invited all interested Mindanaoan to attend their 2017 Activities to promote Indonesian products, goods and services here in the Philippines through their yearlong Trade Expo in Davao City. The venue of the events will be at the Consulate Office Main Hall, Davao City starting March 16-18, 2017.
On the other hand, Oro Chamber has also invited businessmen from Indonesia through the the consulate office to join the biggest gathering of Mindanao Businessmen on September 2017 called the MINBIZCON 2017. This event will hope to build and strengthen bilateral relationship between our two countries which redound to promoting trade and commerce and other possible business opportunities.
The meeting winded up with possitive note with commitment to support upcoming events and activities between Indonesia and Cagayan de Oro City.
